Casket Spray

This casket spray was designed in a cost-effective casket saddle. Here, I decided to make an assymetrical spray by clustering my botanicals. To give this spray a little touch of the traditional, I used good 'ol Football Mums and Blue Delphinium.

Grapevine Wreath

This Grapevine wreath gives new flavor to the traditional style wreath. I have used two igloos and secured them with chenil stems. I clustered white carnations for the tradtional feel and then extended my green and white anthuriums and just rested the variegated abake at the base in the bottom igloo. In the top igloo, I used japhet orchids, bowed ti leaves, cut palmetto, scotch broom and another small cluster of white carnations. Then, to soften the look, I used trimmed plomosus.

Inverted "L" Arrangement

For this arrangement, I've chosen to design in an inverted "L" shape using curly willow, glads for a traditional touch, and grouped white anthurium. The focal point is the japhet orchids and the banksia protea, with an echo from the top banksia. I also used Ti foliage straight and bowed.

Tree trunk arrangement

I used the trunk of a tree, secured to one brick of wet foam inside a utility dish, for this arrangement. Since the trunk was hollow, I designed inside it, creating my line with curly willow, ginger, and a strellzia leaf. I pillowed red roses inside the trunk and cascaded my oncidian orchids. Then, I feathered the Ti foliage with my fingernail to create some transparency. The foliage blanket is made from lemon leaf and glued to matching upholstery fabric.

Arrangement in wood

This casket spray is designed in a piece of wood. The natural concave of the wood easily fit an igloo, which was secured with hot glue. I clustered Lavender Roses and inserted orchids in water tubes into the foam. I caged the roses and orchids using stripped ivy vine.

Massie floral design

Another of my designs, featuring Bird of Paradise and red anthuriums.
