LA Fleur Expo 2001
|
|
Over 400 florist and industry leaders attended the LA Fleur Expo 2001 on June 10, 2001 at the Los Angeles Flower Market. Tayama was among the Participating Sponsors of this joint event held by four industry organizations: The American Florists Exchange, LTD., The Associated Florists of Southern California, The California State Floral Association, and Southern California Flower Growers, Inc.
Featured during the event was a floral design competition, a silent auction and two seminars featuring Rene Van Rems of the California Cut Flower Commission, and Phil Rulloda, AIFD.

This 20-foot tall arrangement was designed by Silverio Casabar, and was featured at Tayama's stall during the show.
Silverio spent two days preparing our stall for the show and created so many beautiful works of floral art that we've devoted this and next month's Tamie's Tips column to his work.
