This quarter's event featires the AIFD Across America Show, featuring James Lynch, AIFD. The show was held at A Secret Garden Florist in Clovis, CA on June 18, 2006.
James L Lynch AIFD has been in the floral industry for more than 27 years and operates his freelance design firm, Fleur Design Concepts in Tarzana California.
James has been involved in education of business economics, national trade booth merchandising, product prototype development, distinctive specialty events and weddings and his design talents have been seen on television and movies, high profile celebrity gatherings, the American Music Awards, Grammy's, Emmy's and the Rose Bowl Games.
He's presented and commentated many education design programs, product demonstrations and lectures for manufacturers, wholesalers, garden clubs, interior designers, wire services, State and regional organizations throughout Canada and the United States.
James is the recipient of several prestigious competition awards throughout California, including CSFA's Designer of the Year in 2000.
He proudly joined The American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) in 2001. He's a Design Director for Smithers Oasis North America and part of the FTD Education Team.
His speak easy and down to earth aproach makes his audiences feel right at home and keeps him in high demand.

The AIFD Across America Show was held at A Secret Garden Florist, Clovis, CA. on June 18, 2006.
This event was an educational program on principle and elements of design. 4 distinctive displays were set in the staging area underneath a 100 year old walnut tree in the garden at a floral shop in Clovis called A Secret Garden.
Sets were Mass design and flower varieties, Line design and flower varieties, Texture design and flower varieties and Form design and flower varieties.
Tropicals that Tayama's provided feel into the Form set, these are flowers with unusual shapes ie; Phales, Antheriums, Proteas etc.
