LA Fleur Expo 2002 "Trend Setting"


The second annual LA Fleur Expo "Trend Setting" was held on Sunday, August 25, 2002 at the Los Angeles Flower Market (home of our Los Angeles location). The event was produced again by a collaboration of the following organizations: the LA Flower Market, Associated Florists of Southern California, and the California State Florists Association.

James Lynch at LA Fleur Expo 2002It was a fabulous event, featuring a crowd of more than 500 attendees. Once again, the Master of Ceremonies was James Lynch, AIFD, and President of the Associated Florists of Southern California. James was also one of Tayama's past Featured Floral Designers. Other designers showcased at the event included Kim Morrill, AIFD, of Seattle, Washington, and Rich Salvaggio, AIFD, AAF, PFCI, and Immediate National Past President of AIFD.

Christmas arrangementA unique Christmas holiday arrangement featuring a "bridge" made up of a long white Phalaenopsis orchid stems, silver curly willow, and round blue tree ornaments.


Vase arrangementThis stunning glass vase arrangement includes red rubrum lilies, liatris, lavender Cattleya orchids, equisitum and silver-treated palm leaves.


Green holiday wreathUnique green and white holiday wreath featuring White Japhet orchid sprays, xmas greens, and green lace material.













Cat and rose arrangement

Lavender Cattleyas, antique red roses, and gold holly berries form this magnificent holiday arrangement.

Overflowing cup arrangement
White Japhet orchid sprays, variegated Ti leaves, equisitum and golden holly berries in an antique style container creates a "cup runneth over" effect.

Christmas arrangement

Tired of the same old holiday centerpiece? This unique holiday arrangement uses lavender ribbon, candles, large-headed roses, equisitum and lavender Hydrangea for a stunning conversation piece.
