In this lesson, I'll show you, step by step, how to create this Armature Scepter Bouquet.

SUPPLY LIST
As shown in the photo below, you'll need the following supplies:

- 8" Grapevine Wreath
- Spool of Wire
- 1 bunch Bear Grass
- 1 box Stephanotis
- Dendrobium florets, wired and taped
- 4 Phalaenopsis Florets
- Floral Adhesive

1. First, make an anchor point with the wire on the underside of the wreath. Then with random wrappings, make several generations around the wreath, making sure each generation is secured in the wreath.
2. Next, weave the Bear Grass randomly through the wire and secure the points of insertion with floral adhesive.

3. Using a heavy stem wire, make 4-anchor points equal distance from each other within the underside of the wreath. You be the judge of the wire gauge based on the weight of your wreath. After making the anchors, twist together to form a handle, as shown in the photo below.

4. Next, insert your stemmed Dendrobiums and Phalaenopsis into the armature, as shown in this and the next photo.

5. Thread the stephanotis blossoms on the bear grass using 3-4 blossoms per blade and cage the bouquet with the threaded stephanotis. Once you are finished, make sure you have secured any loose ends and taped your handle tightly.

6. Using the same wire, wrap the wire around the handle to cover the taped mechanics. This will give you a nice decorative handle on your finished bouquet.
