Ever thought of using Rainbow foam and FUN products in funeral work? Now you can!
Here I have created a beautiful casket spray using OASISTMSisal and Rainbow Foam. To match this lovely casket provided by my friends Ed and Joan Wise, proprietors of Wise Funeral Service, Bucyrus, Ohio,in a casket saddle, I use one brick of Red Rainbow foam and covered it in Natural OASISTM Sisal. For my foliage base, I used Ti leaves and lycopodium. I then used Starlight Speckle red and white anthuriums and filled it full of ginger.
Once the bereaved is looking at the casket spray, they will see deep inside the design and notice the delicate epidendrum orchids in a cloud of Natural OASISTM Sisal (below). |

This and the photo below shows a basket of orchids with a new flair! First, I glued a container with a brick of matching Rainbow foam. Next, I covered the entire basket with 3 different colors of OASISTM Sisal. Leaving the orchids in their water tubes, I inserted the tubes into the Rainbow foam. Another very simple yet elegant design. A cost-effective money maker your clients will cherish for their special loved one.

This last design is another tribute piece. I glued a 1/3 brick of yellow Rainbow Foam into the Smithers-Oasis plastic container and covered it in Natural OASISTM Sisal. I then found some interesting twigs (sprayed yellow) for my line and surrounded the anthuriums with asparagus myerii and variegated hosta leaves. For the movement in this design, I utilized the natural curve of the epidendrum orchids.
