In this second part of our tribute to Silverio Casabar (see part 1), we'll focus on the highly practiced skill of weaving, braiding, and the ti leaf rosette. Silverio pioneered this art form incorporating it into floral arrangements.

Silverio's popular design classes at our Carlsbad location devotes much time to teaching this intricate skill.

Rosette in arrangement

The rosette is one of the most versatile cornerstones of any tropical arrangement. Notice (above) how the rosette can be used as an accent or (below) the center focal point.
