Tamie's Tips - October 2001

In Remembrance

Tamie Kimura

Words cannot adequately convey my grief for the September 11 New York City terrorist tragedy. Therefore, I will try to express it in my floral pieces this month.

For these designs, I chose white because it stands out among your everyday colors (oftentimes, other floral pieces use generic colors and flowers due to pricing constraints). White orchids are usually an item that is readily available, and very soothing to the eye.

This month's Tips column is dedicated to the victims of the attacks in New York and Washington, and to the millions more who were affected by this tragedy.
